||Spokane Valley, WA — According to ACE Production Technologies, Inc., its ongoing series of 2-day selective soldering workshops have been a tremendous success.
Eight workshops have been completed thus far and ACE plans to continue its highly successful series of selective soldering workshops including an introductory workshop as well as an advanced workshops. With more than 100 companies attending past workshops, the company has become the established go-to leader for educational training on the subject of selective soldering.
These workshops provide a combination of classroom and hands-on curriculum that significantly compresses the learning curve for those new to the selective soldering process or those who wish to advance their in-depth knowledge. The classroom portion of the introductory workshop is conducted by well-known process expert Bob Klenke of ITM Consulting while the hands-on portion is taught by the engineering staff in the ACE application lab. Renowned fabrication expert Stan Bentley of DIVSYS International instructs the classroom portion of the advanced workshop with the hands-on segments taught by the ACE application staff.
This highly successful educational program will be continued throughout 2014 with the following selective soldering workshops scheduled:
Introductory Workshops are scheduled for: February 4-5, 2014; April 8-9, 2014; June 3-4, 2014; August 5-6, 2014; September 30-October 1, 2014; December 9-10, 2014.
Advanced Workshops are scheduled for: February 25-26, 2014; April 29-30, 2014; June 24-25, 2014; October 28-29, 2014.
The curriculum for these workshops is based on real-world practices and covers all aspects of the selective soldering process. Handout and reference materials are provided to each attendee.
