Anomet Intros Copper-Cored Hermetic Wire
Copper-cored hermetic wire.
Shrewsbury, MA — A standard line of copper-cored glass-to- metal sealing wire for fabricating hermetic switching devices requiring higher conductivity than solid wire is available from Anomet Products, Inc.
Anomet Copper-Cored Glass-to-Metal Sealing Wire is hermetically bonded between the copper core and selected alloy to create a wire that carries up to six times more current than solid wire; depending upon the application.
Featuring a variety of standard alloy compositions in sizes from 0.5mm to 10mm dia., it permits the design of smaller conductors than solid wire and is especially suitable for fabricating hermetic switching devices.
Available with 2:1 and 3:1 ratios of the alloy to the copper core, Anomet Copper-Cored Glass-to-Metal Sealing Wire standard products include: FeNi (Alloy 52, Dilaton 51) Nickel-Iron, Kovar
®
(Dilver) Nickel-Iron-Cobalt, Alloy 42-6 Nickel-Iron-Chrome, and Alloy 446SS Iron-Chromium; each is hermetically bonded to a copper core with 100percent IACS minimum conductivity.
