Sealant Equipment: Color Change Valves Improve Performance
3-color change valve assembly.
Plymouth, MI — Sealant Equipment & Engineering is introducing its new 2600-019 series Color Change Valves which reportedly improve dispensing and operating performance for the user. The new line of Color Changes Valve assemblies includes the No-Drip® fluid valves for color control. The Color Change Valve assembly consists of two or more color valves and a flush valve which allow colored fluids to merge into one manifold and common applicator where a selected color is dispensed. The manifold and applicator is flushed before each new color is introduced.

Three design features are Quick-Change color and flush valves, stainless steel wetted components and carbide needles and seats in the color and flush control valves. The Quick-Change design allows replacement in less than 2 minutes, stainless steel materials allow use with corrosive materials and carbide components ensure longer production life.

The valve assemblies accept multi-colored paints, coatings, epoxies, urethanes, silicones, PVCs and a wide variety of other multi-colored fluids where one applicator is desired. The No-Drip Quick-Change color and flush valves are double air-operated to ensure positive start-stop of the fluid. Multi-colored materials are delivered to the Color Change Valve manifold by either a metering assembly or under regulated pressure from supply tanks or pumps available from the company.
