Printed Electronics Europe and Photovoltaics to CoLocate
Cambridge, UK — IDTechEx is staging its next Printed Electronics Europe conference in Dresden Germany at the Maritim Hotel on April 7-8, 2009. The Dresden area is a fast-growing center of excellence for organic and printed electronics and IDTechEx has organized visits to several of the leading local organizations active in these technologies.

IDTechEx prides itself on giving the big picture, by inviting leading speakers from around the world. Commercialization and the full range of technologies are the emphasis, with inorganic solutions receiving equal emphasis with organic and hybrid solutions — thus reflecting the situation in the real world.

A full range of devices, materials and production technologies will be explained by best-in-class speakers, with many new introductions and first announcements. Samples and demonstrations will be available and many subjects will be aired for the first time. There will be sessions on the latest breakthroughs in electronics on paper, and will include many new types of smart skin patch technologies and photovoltaics beyond silicon.

Colocated with the Printed Electronics Europe conference is the Photovoltaics: Beyond Conventional Silicon conference and exhibition. The Conference will present more than 20 presentations by speakers both from the industry and from leading research institutes.

Also, in addition to the main conference, there will be masterclasses led by industry and academic experts. These seminars are designed to enhance the attendees' knowledge of photovoltaics and related technologies whether a beginner or in search of more in-depth knowledge in the field.

The commercial exhibition area will include displays from companies all over the world, who will demonstrate their products and services and provide an excellent networking opportunity for all delegates. Also available are tours to visit local company facilities in the Dresden area to provide further insight into the latest developments in photovoltaics.
