EI Microcircuits Purchases Takaya Flying-Probe System
Mankato, MN and Santa Clara, CA — EMS provider EI Microcircuits, Inc. has purchased a Takaya APT-9411 Flying-Probe Test System from Texmac, Inc. for use in its Mankato, MN facility. EI selected the tester because of the company's long-term commitment to flying-probe technology and Texmac's ability to deliver the level of quality and support required.
Texmac is the exclusive authorized distributor of Takaya flying probers in North America, has already delivered and installed the Takaya tester at EI's Mankato, MN location.
EI Microcircuits plans to use the new flying prober to provide cost-effective electrical test in place of in-circuit test for prototypes and low-to-medium volume products. In addition, it will be used as a diagnostic tool on complex boards that fail functional test.
