Digitaltest Establishes Contract Testing Services
Stutensee, Germany — Digitaltest has expanded its training and service center in Grunwettersbach, now offering its new department for contract testing services. In addition to its broad range of MTS-System family solutions for in-circuit and functional test, the company now offers services that include applications, program generation and test fixture builds for Digitaltest-Systems and third-party systems from all major manufacturers.

According to the company, test fixtures from Genrad (7x, 8x), Teradyne (z18xx) and Agilent (HP)(306x, 307x) can easily be used for contract testing, as Digitaltest emulates these systems (including older models).

Digitaltest's new service is focused on supporting its customers with high quality electronic tests. Because of staffing shortages or cost, some companies are unable to perform in-house testing. Whether it's through lack of time, shortage of capacity or simply a matter of declining volumes — if running a test system in-house doesn't pay off, outsourcing to a capable service provider can be a viable and economical solution.

These contract testing services are Digitaltest's answer to meeting its customers' needs for cost-effective testing services. The applications team provides economical turnkey solutions that meet even the most stringent individual test requirements.

Based on its platform systems, the company offers a broad range of comprehensive solutions for in-circuit and functional tests, inexpensive fixtures as well as flying probe testers.
