Emulation Tech. Intros HF Probe Grippers
High-frequency test probe gripper.
Camarillo, CA — Emulation Technology, Inc. (ET), a mega-source for design and development engineers, has introduced a new line of high-speed microgrippers with a 15GHz bandwidth for direct connect between Agilent or Tektronix logic analyzer test probes and high-frequency leaded chip packages. Test accessories with long conductors used together with circuits that output high-speed signals can degrade the signal fidelity and add noise. The new micro grippers provide the shortest conductor length — 2-5mm — available in a test clip for high-speed signal measurement. The design also provides for adding a damping resistor for optimum measurement results.
The design includes a flexible electrode which flexes up to 20°, allowing engineer-enhanced dexterity and ease in positioning. The new product is available for all probe styles including: male, female, single, dual, multiple, side and reverse types.
