Mouser Adds Laird and Comchip to Product Offerings
Mansfield, TX — Mouser Electronics, Inc., known for its rapid introduction of the newest products, has signed a global distribution agreement with Comchip Technology Corporation, a manufacturer of SMD diodes. Mouser's Comchip stock includes advanced technology diodes — switching, Schottky, Zener, and ESD — that are RoHS-compliant and Halogen-free in flat chip packages with gold-plated terminations instead of tin-plated. Comchip is the only manufacturer that offers RoHS-compliant and gold termination. These discrete semiconductors are used for voltage/current regulation and rectification, signal conditioning, and circuit protection. The diodes provide long-term reliability through the use of gold terminations rather than tin, eliminating their susceptibility to tin whiskers.

Mouser has also signed with Laird Technologies, a manufacturer of customized, performance-critical components for wireless systems and other advanced electronics applications. The Laird products includes a complete line of thermal management product solutions including high-performance TEAs (Thermoelectric Assemblies), TEMs

(Thermoelectric Modules), and TIMs (Thermal Interface Materials) including gap fillers, phase-change materials, and thermally-conductive grease.

In addition to thermal management, other Laird Technologies' product lines currently available through Mouser include an extensive line of wireless products such as ZigBee®, Bluetooth®, packaged RF transceivers, and development kits; EMI solutions such as board-level shields, gaskets, absorbers, Fabric-Over-Foam, and Fingerstock products; as well as signal integrity products including ferrites, chokes, chip beads, inductors, and more.
