HellermannTyton Launches Nameplate Label Solutions
Foam nameplate.
Milwaukee, WI — HellermannTyton is introducing foam nameplates and foam button nameplates to its Identification Solutions product line. Designed specifically to replace plastic and metal faceplates commonly found on control panels, these foam-based markers are laminated with a high-performance polyester film that is printable using a thermal transfer printing system.

The new foam nameplates are described as durable, and costing less per unit than engraved plates and can be printed on demand. Using this product, it becomes possible to create, correct and replace markers when and where needed — saving time, speeding production, and reducing inventory. In addition, these high-density foam nameplates are an excellent choice for rough and uneven surfaces, providing a flat printed surface that is resistant to chemicals, solvents, heat and UV exposure. The markers have an aggressive adhesive that will stick to smooth or powder coat-painted surfaces. In addition to foam nameplates, the company also offers plastic nameplate markers, continuous vinyl labels, and metalized polyester labels. These are all good choices that can replace costly engraved nameplates for labeling instrument panels, switches, racks, cabinets, OEM equipment, or any application requiring nameplate identification.
