Highly Stable SMT Clock Oscillator from Ruby Quartz
Surface-mount clock oscillators.
Aventura, FL — Ruby Quartz has introduced what it calls the first free-running non-temperature-compensated clock oscillators with stability down to ±10PPM over an all-inclusive room temperature stability over the range of -40 to +85°C over a frequency range of 2.5 to 55MHz.
The newly introduced RoHS-compliant COM2 Series fills a grey area of stability performance from previously available product. It is produced in an ultra-small package of a 5.0 X 3.3mm making it especially suitable for use in Wireless LANs, where the enable/disable function, low phase noise, low current consumption and tight stability are prime design needs.
Operating voltage ranges can be from 1.8 to 5.0VDC at a maximum of 7.0mA, depending on frequency and stability requirements within the operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
